I will post my reviews here as well as on my Instagram and Twitter. I’ll try to post one at least once a week. Reviews will consist of 4 things:

  1. A general overview of the plot.
  2. Likes and dislikes.
  3. Whether or not I would recommend this book to someone else and whom.
  4. Any aspect of diversity that being is represented.

If I’m a member of one of the groups being represented I’ll, of course, I’ll be able to speak more to the accuracy. But I plan to put research into anything I write about. I don’t want to be another white female blogger who writes about Own Voices books critically without knowing anything about the content being represented.

I’ll try my best to do research to see what other bloggers who are represented in these stories are saying about them as well as the writers opinions and backgrounds.

I plan to do my best to provide an honest review while being aware of the way my own positions in the world will affect this.

I hope we can have a good time enjoying books together!
